When you become a registered member, you supply us confidential contact information. We use this only to:
Keep track of information that will help you (such as your order history and shopping cart) Notify you of specials Send you "members only" discounts Send you our newsletter--if you've requested it. 

THIRD PARTY ACCESS: 

ONLY LIFE IS A MOVIE has access to your information. We will not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. PERIOD!

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE: 

When you register with LIFE IS A MOVIE, you supply us your name, address, e-mail address and phone number. Once you become a registered member you are not anonymous to us, however no other member or entity may access your personal information. 

SECURITY: 

Your account information is password-protected for your privacy and security. We do not store any credit card information online! If you pay online with a credit card, we receive the information for that transaction only. You must re-enter your credit card information each time you order, but it keeps the information much more secure.
When you shop online at LIFE IS A MOVIE, your personal information is scrambled before it is sent over the Internet using 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology, the most secure and up-to-the-minute encryption available for commercial transactions. This encryption allows your order information to reach only our server. It cannot be read by others. If you're uncomfortable placing your personal and/or payment information online, please feel free to place your orders by phone, fax, mail or e-mail in several parts.

LIFE IS A MOVIE will replace all defective items. Customer must provide to LIFE IS A MOVIE, in writing (e-mail, fax or letter), the nature of any defect. LIFE IS A MOVIE may request the item be returned to assess the defect and assist us to improve our product line. If the defect is discovered to be artificial, no replacement or refund will be offered. LIFE IS A MOVIE will pay the shipping charges both for the return and replacement of defective items, but will not pay shipping charges or give refunds for artificially constructed defects.

NON-DEFECTIVE ITEMS:

LIFE IS A MOVIE will consider all requests for returns on non-defective items on a case-by-case basis. All returns for non-defective items must be in the original, shrink-wrapped packaging, unopened with no broken seals.

CHANGED YOUR MIND?: LIFE IS A MOVIE will accept returns and issue refunds or credits for any reason,  providing the item has not been opened and all seals, packaging and shrink-wrap are in tact. The customer is responsible for postage for non-defective returns.

BUYERS REMORSE: LIFE IS A MOVIE will allow returns for "buyer's remorse" providing the item has not been opened and all seals, packaging and shrink-wrap are in tact. The customer is responsible for postage for "buyer's remorse" returns.

VIDEO/DVD PICTURE AND/OR SOUND QUALITY:

Please be aware we are providing the best copy of films and TV shows which we have been able to locate. Keep in mind, some of the source materials are over 100 years old ... a scratch here and a wiggle there still represents what is the best available copy we can find. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the picture or sound, we will do our best to upgrade the content to your satisfaction. If we are unable to do so, and consider the quality to be below standard, we will issue a refund or credit at your election.

GREAT CONTENT - GENERIC SLEEVE

ORDER WITH CONFIDENCE!

We are proud to offer classic titles from many reputable manufacturers. Not all of the titles come in a custom printed sleeve. In order to make these titles available, the brand new VHS tapes are manufactured at Standard Speed (SP), NOT Extended Play (EP, LP or SLP), sent labeled and shrink-wrapped in a generic sleeve. The sleeve is usually printed, but not with information specific to the film.   The manufacturers elect to do this in order to make films available that would probably never recoup the cost of designing, printing and storing a custom sleeve.

The bottom line is that the source elements vary, but they're always the best we can find. If we find a better source element,  either the manufacturer upgrades the duplicating master or we find another manufacturer when that's an option.

The source materials for "generic sleeve" titles are the same used to fill orders for broadcast, cable and video companies worldwide, so order with confidence.
